“卢旺达现在实行对外开放政策。在卢旺达有着巨大的有利可图的投资机会，国家为投资者提供良好的营商环境，投资者可以利用这种环境成功地开展业务。在卢旺达的投资者可以从规模更大的约1.85亿人口的东非共同体市场，以及拥有21个成员国和5亿多人口的东南非共同市场（COMESA）中受益，在那里你可以免税、免配额出口。”“Rwandaisopenforbusiness.Therearevastprofitableinvestmentopportunitiesandthecountryofferstherightkindofbusinessenvironmentthatinvestorscanleverageontosuccessfullydobusiness.InvestorsinRwandacanbenefitfromthebiggerEastAfricanCommunitymarketofaboutmillionpeopleaswellastheCommonMarketforEasternandSouthernAfrica(COMESA)with21memberstatesandapopulationofmorethanmillionpeople,whereyoucanexportdutyfree,quotafree,”hesaid.
基莫尼奥大使补充道，在卢旺达的投资者还可以从非洲大陆自由贸易区(AfCFTA)中受益，该贸易区拥有约13亿消费者。KimonyoaddedthatinvestorsinRwandacanalsobenefitfromtheAfricanContinentalFreeTradeArea(AfCFTA),whichoffersamarketofabout1.3billionconsumers.
东非中国总商会副主席、卢旺达华侨华人协会会长尹晴日先生对此次经贸论坛的成功举办以及大使馆的支持表示赞赏。Mr.YinQingri,theViceChairmanoftheEastAfricanChinaChamberofCommerceandPresidentoftheRwandanChineseAssociationapplaudedtheEmbassysupportinorganizingthesuccessfulbusinessforum.
尹会长表示：“我们的目标是通过这样的商业论坛，让更多的中国投资者了解东非的商业机会，特别是卢旺达。”并补充说，卢旺达华侨华人协会将会尽快组织一批投资者访问卢旺达并探索商机。“OurgoalistoseemoreChineseinvestorsknowaboutthebusinessopportunitiesinEastAfrica,especiallyinRwandathroughbusinessforumslikethisone”,Yinsaid.HeaddedthattheRwandanChineseAssociationwillsoonorganizeagroupofinvestorstovisitRwandaandexplorebusinessopportunities.
目前，卢旺达的营商便利度在东非排名第一，在非洲大陆排名第二。世界银行(WorldBank)的数据显示，卢旺达年的经济前景在该地区最为光明，该国是唯一一个预计到年经济增速将超过8%的国家。CurrentlyRwandaisrankedthe1stinEastAfricaand2ndontheAfricancontinentineaseofdoingbusiness.AccordingtotheWorldBank,Rwanda’seconomicprospectsforarethebrightestinregionwiththecountrybeingtheonlyoneprojectedtogrowabove8percentin.
